Mr “G” Sewing Machine Shop is a Latinx, family-owned and operated business that has been working in and out of Chicago for 40+ years. We go beyond fixing sewing machines. We take time to answer questions (if we can) and connect the people in our community with each other when possible.
We have a ton of experience servicing home and industrial sewing machines. So, whether you are a beginner and perhaps in search of a new hobby, or a long time professional, we will do our best to treat you and your sewing machines with the care and respect you & they deserve.

Drop off your sewing machine and give us 1-2 business days to examine it.
We will call you to tell you what was discovered during the examination.
We will also confirm with you if you would like us to proceed repairing your sewing machine and give you the reparation cost.
We aim to be as transparent as possible so typically the price we give will be the price you pay.*
*If something is discovered during the reparation process that was not discovered during the examination, we will call you to update you as this can change the final reparation cost. It entirely depends on whether or not a part must be replaced.
